Gareth Bale Compares La Liga with the Premier League

Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale claims that the Premier League is much harder than the Spanish league.

There has always been a competition between the top leagues in Europe especially when it comes to the strength of the teams. The general consensus is that the La Liga is far easier since only a handful of clubs tend to win most of the games. Bayern Munich are the sole dominating club when it comes to the German Bundesliga. In the Italian Serie A, Juventus have won the title for the last six seasons. The Premier league, though is much different.

Bale has played in the Premier league and the Spanish league. He reckons that a Premier league team cannot get away with playing at less than 100% even for a few minutes. It is because they can be punished rather quickly and end up dropping points. In the Spanish La Liga, though, he says that winning at half-time against a team from bottom of the table will almost surely end up in a victory in the second half. Eden Hazard Needs Consistency to Reach Gareth Bale Levels, Says Neville

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville reckons that Eden Hazard has the capability to become as good as Neymar or Gareth Bale, but he says thatHazard has struggled to do so because of consistency issues.

The 26-year-old came up with an incredible reputation as one of the highly talented youngsters in world football. In this period, he has managed to win several honours including the Europa League and the Premier league title. On an individual basis, Hazard was crowned as the PFA Player of the Year during the 2014-15 season.

However, Hazard failed to improve on this campaign as he had a season to forget in the 2015-16 campaign. Now, though, he appears to be one of the top players at Chelsea once again, although not necessarily the best. Hazard has scored 10 goals and created 4 in 25 appearancesthis season. Ryan Giggs says that he does not expect Gareth Bale to leave Real Madrid in the future.

Bale became the record signing for the club when he moved from Spurs in the summer of 2013 for a whopping £85m. Even though he has not been able to achieve the same level of popularity or match the personal of a Cristiano Ronaldo, he has been able to provide some crucial contribution to the team in almost every area. He has already managed to win several honours – especially the two Champions League medals. From time to time, speculation continues to mount about his future.

Bale has been linked with a return to English football with the likes of Manchester United, who are probably the only club at this moment who can afford the player without any restrictions from the financial fair play regulations. The 27-year-old may be coming to the time when he thinks about a return to English football where it all began for him. Continue reading Ryan Giggs Does Not See Gareth Bale Leaving Real Madrid
