Gareth Bale was able to help Real Madrid get a big win by scoring a goal. This also happened to be the first goal that he scored in a timeframe of 100 days. Zinedine Zidane: Gareth Bale And Karim Benzema Will Stay At Real Madrid

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has stressed that Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema will remain with the club next season despite the continuous speculation over their futures. Bale has been alleged to have had a rift with Zidane owing to his reduced playing time whilst Benzema has come for criticism from the club’s supporters after his poor form in front of goal.

Speaking in a weekly press conference, Zidane was quizzed about the positions of the first-team duo to which he dismissed their prospects of leaving the club, he said: “We need them and I’ll do everything possible so that they’re not affected by what’s been said outside. They’ll stay with us. I know all our players want to play, but it isn’t possible. Gareth Bale Not Giving Up On His World Cup Dream

Wales international Gareth Bale has refused to give up on his World Cup dream, despite missing out on the global tournament in Russia this summer. The 28-year-old suffered a calf problem during the latter stages of Wales’ qualifying campaign, and he had to watch helplessly watch at his country were ousted by the Republic of Ireland.

Despite the disappointment, the attacker remains keen on realising his World Cup dream, and motivated to guide Wales to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, he said: “It was a massive disappointment for all of us not to reach the World Cup having experienced the Euros, which was incredible. But normally if we do well in one campaign we die away in the next. We were right there until the end, so we have to take the positives. Losing and missing out on the World Cup makes us even hungrier to qualify next time.”

Zinedine Zidane Dismisses Claims That Gareth Bale Is ‘Unhappy’

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has insisted that Gareth Bale is content with the proceedings in the Spanish Capital despite being in-and-out of the starting line-up. The Wales international has endured another injury-hit campaign with the European champions, and he has managed just 28 appearances across all competitions, scoring 11 goals.


Recent reports from the Spanish media have suggested that the attacker could be leaning towards a return to the Premier League after being left out of the starting 11 against the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, but Zidane has stressed that there is no concern of any sort with the former Tottenham man, he said: “Bale? Guillem Balague rules out Gareth Bale return to Tottenham Hotspur

Sky Sports pundit Guillem Balague has dismissed the possibility of Tottenham Hotspur re-signing Gareth Bale during the winter transfer window. The Wales international has found himself out-of-favour under Zinedine Zidane this term, and this has spread speculation of him pursuing a new challenge in the summer.


Spurs had a first-refusal clause inserted during Bale’s record move to Real Madrid back in the summer of 2013, but Balague appears to have ruled out their chances of luring the attacker back to north London. Mauricio Pochettino has previously spoken fondly about Bale, but Balague does not believe Spurs have the financial power to match Los Blancos’ demands.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane wants to see Gareth Bale contributing regularly on the playing field after recovering from a recurring calf problem. The Wales international has been sidelined twice this season due to the injury, and this has restricted him to just four starts in the Spanish top-flight.

Bale made his much-awaited return during the Copa del Rey round of 16 first-leg versus Numancia, and he found the scoresheet via a spot-kick in a 3-0 win. Following the game, Zidane was pleased to have the Welshman back in the ranks, and he is hoping to see the attacker play a regular role during the second half of the campaign.
