UNITED BEGIN TALKS FOR BALE

Premier League giant Manchester United have reportedly opened a line of communication with Spanish side Real Madrid.

United are seeking a deal that would bring back Welsh star Gareth Bale to England after his world record transfer out in 2013.

Diario Gol says United are desperate for the services of the former Spurs star and that Mourinho hopes to convince his former club to sell the struggling player to him. The report claims Mourinho reached out to Real president Florentino Perez as he wants Bale to be his new star at Old Trafford.

United are a long time interested party but Bale could accede this time as he struggled this season. The 27-year old winger is in the race to make the Champions League final in June as he remains sidelined. He recently agreed to a new deal that would tie him up at the Bernabeu for years but reports in Spain say Madrid are mulling over the ideal of selling him. Eden Hazard Needs Consistency to Reach Gareth Bale Levels, Says Neville

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville reckons that Eden Hazard has the capability to become as good as Neymar or Gareth Bale, but he says thatHazard has struggled to do so because of consistency issues.

The 26-year-old came up with an incredible reputation as one of the highly talented youngsters in world football. He has been at Chelsea for five years after having joined the club for around £ 32 million. In this period, he has managed to win several honours including the Europa League and the Premier league title. On an individual basis, Hazard was crowned as the PFA Player of the Year during the 2014-15 season.

However, Hazard failed to improve on this campaign as he had a season to forget in the 2015-16 campaign. Now, though, he appears to be one of the top players at Chelsea once again, although not necessarily the best. Hazard has scored 10 goals and created 4 in 25 appearancesthis season. CHRIS COLEMAN WANTS TEAM TO REACH GARETH BALE’S LEVEL AT EURO 2016 DESPITE LOSS TO SWEDEN

The manager of Wales men’s national team advises his team to reach the level of Real Madrid star forward Gareth Bale.

Bale joined the team after resting for a while to recover from the stress of the UEFA Champions League.

The manager said he wanted the players and even himself to get as close to Bale’s level as much as possible as the challenge in France was a big one.  The Welsh team have not won a game since Bale’s last appearance for his country in October and still couldn’t pull off a victory when they took on Sweden n their last warm-up game ahead of their first Euro 2016 campaign.

The winger still has a fitness challenge going into the competition even though he has declared himself fit. Bale also has off field distractions as the father of his long term girlfriend faces up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty in the US to his role £2 million ‘boiler room’ scam. Martin Rhys-Jones pleaded guilty to the charge putting strain on his daughter, Emma, who has two children already for Bale. Madrid may reach Europe semi’s this time

Roller coaster is the word for the Madrid fans at the moment as the Whites seem to be defying the odds quite consistently.

The improbable Barcelona victory and then, the improbable Wolfsburg loss, now that’s a bit too much to take over a period of just 5 days.

A 0-2 loss at the Volkswagen Arena yesterday hurt Madrid’s hopes of reaching the Europe semis big time.

The Madrid players actually might have been carrying the hangover of that Barcelona victory with themselves as they lost the game within first half an hour itself.

The defence was so relaxed and complacent as if they just did not assume Wolfsburg to attack so vociferously in the initial moments.

As Steve McManaman said, and it would sound very true to those who would have seen the proceedings, it was no better than a school boyish defence from Madrid.

They did wake up after a point, but, only to find out that it was all too late. Wolfsburg was always going to park the bus with that sort of advantage.

It’s not the end, not with the unpredictability that Madrid has shown in the recent weeks. There’s got to be immense effort from the Blancos when they meet Wolfsburg at their fortress come Wednesday. But, there can’t be anyone disagreeing to the fact that this is a big low for them, losing the first leg this way, especially coming from that Camp Nou result. Rafael Benitez has not pleased Gareth Bale a single bit

The sacking of Rafael Benitez has not pleased Gareth Bale a single bit.

He is absolutely furious and he has even started contemplating an away move.

Benitez had been playing Bale in the central position and the Wales international had been flourishing.

But, now, with the exit of the 55-year old, it’s not certain whether Bale would continue in centre.

According to the sources, Bale would be ready to stay at Real Madrid only if he gets assurances regarding the role that he will be playing under the new manager coming in.

It’s not a hidden fact that Bale is a highly demanded player amongst English clubs.

Manchester United had shown interest in him in the summer itself, but, had not succeeded in landing him.

They would now surely be looking to pounce on this opportunity to try and lure him to Old Trafford.

But, it will not be straightforward for the Red Devils as the other two English heavyweights i.e. City and Chelsea will be in the race as well.

Since joining Real Madrid in 2013, Bale has been a fruitful performer.

His strike rate has been fantastic every season and he is close to completing half century of goals for the club in all competitions. Continue reading Rafael Benitez has not pleased Gareth Bale a single bit
