Bale Arrives At Real Madrid

Gareth Bale arrived to Real Madrid as a way to counter Barcelona’s Neymar as the Brazilian decided to join the team of Lionel Messi. The Welshman broke the world record transfer fee which was previously set by Cristiano Ronaldo and the former Tottenham player found it difficult trying to adjust his playing style in his new club at the Santiago Bernabeu but there was however signs of progress as Bale tried to prove why Real Madrid was willing to offload €91 million in signing him.

It took Bale a few months until he could start displaying impressive performances with the Spanish club but it was during the Copa del Rey finals against Barcelona that the Welshman managed to silence his critics as he scored the winning goal in the last few minutes of the encounter as he brilliantly got his way past Marc Bartra and with a simple finish he tucked the ball into the net of Pinto.

The former Tottenham player once again stepped it up during an important match as he scored against Athletic Madrid in a match Real Madrid came out on top and won the Champions League silverware. All of those accomplishments have been impressing considering it was his debut season in a completely new club and league but according to Bale, he still wants to continue improving and winning more titles with Real Madrid as he stated in a recent interview.

“I’m very different. I think physically, mainly. When I first started playing at Southampton I was a little scrawny kid! I have grown and become more powerful and stronger. I’m just keeping working now, on every part of my game. Hopefully I can still keep improving in the future,” Gareth Bale stated.

The previous season was a successful one for Real Madrid as they managed on lifting yet another Champions League trophy as well as defeating Barcelona in the finals of the Copa del Rey and Gareth Bale played a pivotal role in both of those achievements and he wants to maintain this momentum for the next season.
