Gareth Bale Compares La Liga with the Premier League

Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale claims that the Premier League is much harder than the Spanish league.

There has always been a competition between the top leagues in Europe especially when it comes to the strength of the teams. The general consensus is that the La Liga is far easier since only a handful of clubs tend to win most of the games. Bayern Munich are the sole dominating club when it comes to the German Bundesliga. In the Italian Serie A, Juventus have won the title for the last six seasons. The Premier league, though is much different.

Bale has played in the Premier league and the Spanish league. He reckons that a Premier league team cannot get away with playing at less than 100% even for a few minutes. It is because they can be punished rather quickly and end up dropping points. In the Spanish La Liga, though, he says that winning at half-time against a team from bottom of the table will almost surely end up in a victory in the second half. The 26-year-old came up with an incredible reputation as one of the highly talented youngsters in world football. He has been at Chelsea for five years after having joined the club for around £ 32 million. In this period, he has managed to win several honours including the Europa League and the Premier league title. On an individual basis, Hazard was crowned as the PFA Player of the Year during the 2014-15 season.

However, Hazard failed to improve on this campaign as he had a season to forget in the 2015-16 campaign. BALE’S LONG THROW-INS, ANOTHER WEAPON

Real Madrid star, Gareth Bale says his long throws could be an extra weapon in Wales’ arsenal after terrorizing Austria’s defence with series of accurate deliveries into the box during Thursday’s 2-2 World Cup qualifying draw.

And Bale, better known for his tireless speed and prowess with the ball at his feet – has no reservations about adding dangerous throw-ins to his already well-stocked attacking prowess. He hopes it would be useful for them in their other upcoming World Cup Qualifying matches as well.

“I will like to hear what my teammates have to say concerning that and what the manager says, I suppose it is another weapon we have got and, if we need to use it, we will use it,” he told reporters on Saturday. Continue reading BALE’S LONG THROW-INS, ANOTHER WEAPON
