Fulgini is widely regarded as the best player at Angers and the club won’t hesitate to sell him so as to raise cash to ease the financial burden at the club. A lot of the French teams are struggling with their finances mainly due to the effects of Covid-19.

The Daily Mail specifically said that Fulgini has a new admirer in Newcastle Unitedand that they have to fight for him with fellow English team Crystal Palace who has previously shown interest in the player.

Fulgini has made over 100 appearances for Angers since joining the club four years ago. He was the main man for Angers last season with 10 goals and four assists. In total, he was involved in 14 goal contributions.

Amgers have slapped a £12m valuation on Fulgini amidst the interest from the Premier League teams. Everton and Southampton previously showed interest in the player who has been likened to Real Madrid star Gareth Bale. He has two years left on his current Angers deal which expires in 2023.

New Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira knows a lot of things about Fulgini from his time as the OGC Nice boss. His team needs to fend off the Magpies to sign the player who was the second most fouled player in the top five leagues.

Four years back, French media outlet GFFN produced a piece on Fulgini as he was likened to both Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo. He has been able to transition from his previous position as a fullback to an attacker just like what was obtainable with Welshman Gareth Bale at Tottenham Hotspur.
