BALE TO FINALLY EXIT MADRID?

Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale might be closer to exit than fans might expect. The matter seemed put to bed when the Welshman remained and promised to work with Coach Zinedine Zidane for the season. However, latest reports in the La Liga hints at a Bale exit in January.

Manchester United, as usual, is named as an option for the former Tottenham Hotspur man. Zidane would need to find a replacement for the winger for the deal to go through as both of them still cannot make the marriage work.

Bale was supposed to lead the line after Cristiano Ronaldo exited but KarimBenzema has been the one doing the job. Despite some great highlights since his 2013 switch to Spain, Bale has never quite won over the Madrid fans.

It seems this is the breaking point for the Florentino Perez-Bale-Zidane relationship and the right move would be to cut off ties. This was the same conundrum ahead of the season; apparently, the crack was too big to be covered. The issue is now who can afford the bills of the player, plus his injuries record and age.

Real would definitely not allow a player like Bale walk for free so there would be issues with the Chinese sides that would prefer that. A short term loan deal is not a bad idea if the terms suit the parties. However, Bale has a family so moving for six months is something that has to be favourable. The 30-year old admitted to playing with anger following Zidane’s comment of wanting him out. He has always insisted he is a professional and would work with the situation but an exit soon seem best for all parties.
