Gareth Bale is hoping for a new role with the arrival of Rafael Benitez

Rafael Benitez has already been confirmed to be the new manager of Real Madrid as he replaced Carlo Ancelotti who was sacked a few weeks ago. The Spanish manager signed a 3 year long contract with Real Madrid and now the president, Florentino Perez is hoping that with the arrival of Benitez, the club will be able to secure major titles which they failed to do in this recently concluded season.

A lot of doubts are surrounding Real Madrid involving Benitez and what formation he will be utilizing. Gareth Bale had a very impressive debut season as a player of Real Madrid as he helped the team in securing a Champions League and Copa del Rey title but Bale struggled to do anything really noteworthy ever since then.

The agent of Gareth Bale is Jonathan Barnett and he has revealed that the Welsh player is not feeling comfortable playing down the right wing and Bale is wishing that Benitez will use different formations as well as switch the position of players.

Manchester United is targeting Gareth Bale and the Premier League club is hoping they can sign him during the summer transfer window and if Benitez does not fulfill Gareth Bale’s wishes of being moved away from the right wing, the Welsh player might be interested in joining another club where he can perform at his best.

Louis van Gaal has the support of the Glazers family and the Dutch manager can spend as much money as he needs in order to improve his squad and snatch major titles in the next season.

Gareth Bale has already displayed what he is capable of doing in the pitch and he would surely help Manchester United in their journey of becoming the best team not only in England but in the world but a transfer will only occur if Bale wants to leave and if Real Madrid are willing to let go the player that they had to offload €91 million in order to sign him in a transfer that was completed less than 2 years ago.
